Termite Treatment in Leawood, KS
Early Termite Detection and Prevention in Leawood, KS
Leawood spans two termite profiles. Established north Leawood has decades-old homes with the settling, grade, and mature landscaping that subterranean termites exploit, while the larger newer homes of south Leawood combine slab and crawl construction with heavy irrigation and dense plantings that keep soil moisture high against the foundation. Eastern subterranean termites are the species at work in Johnson County.
Whether your Leawood home is older and established or a newer build, the termite that matters here is the same one. Titan Pest Pro inspects, treats, and monitors as one local, veteran-founded team, licensed in Kansas and Missouri. The National Pest Management Association estimates termites cause over $5 billion in property damage nationally each year, and an early inspection is the cheapest insurance against joining that figure.

The Plan Built for This: Titan Termite Defense
Termite coverage now lives in our Titan Termite Defense plan — $99/month on a 12-month plan, built for termite inspection, professional in-ground bait-station installation, ongoing bi-monthly monitoring, and structural protection — which is the natural fit for Leawood homeowners who want termite protection folded in with full-home pest coverage. See also our Termite Control service page for full method details.
Termite Pressure Across Leawood
Leawood’s split housing stock means two different paths to the same problem:
Established north Leawood — aging foundations, decades of settling, and mature landscaping holding moisture against the structure.
Newer south-Leawood homes — slab and crawl construction with heavy irrigation and dense plantings that keep foundation soil damp.
Creek-corridor lots, where higher ambient moisture adds to the conditions termites favor.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We have an older north-Leawood home — are we higher risk for termites?
Older homes tend to carry more risk simply because foundations have settled and landscaping has matured, both of which create the soil contact and moisture subterranean termites need. An inspection confirms whether there’s active work and what the home needs.
Our newer south-Leawood home has lots of irrigation — does that matter?
It can. Heavy irrigation and dense plantings keep soil moisture high right against the foundation, which is exactly what draws subterranean termites — even on newer construction. We point out the conditions worth adjusting alongside any treatment.
How do I know if I have termites?
The common signs are mud tubes on foundation walls, soft or hollow-sounding wood, blistering paint, and swarmers in spring. Many homes show nothing obvious, which is why a free inspection is the right starting point.
Is termite treatment safe around children and pets?
Yes. Products are selected and applied with families and pets in mind, and your technician walks you through any precautions first.
How fast can you come out to Leawood?

Jason Staas came out today to do a termite inspection and sprayed the exterior of my house. He was the first one who was willing to get under the house and do a check and explained how all of the bait stations work for me. Dane was also very polite and professional when I called to let them know how great Jason was. Will recommend Titan Pest Control to everyone I know! Thank you for such great service.

Logan was great, explained the bait stations had been used but did not needed filled yet. He caulked the outside entry point. He suggested that we glue the vent outside. Jenie was also very helpful. We were not happy with out previous service call and she offered to have someone else come out. We are very happy with Titan Pest Pro now.
