Termite Treatment in Ozark, MO
Termite Inspection and Prevention in Ozark, MO
Ozark splits between its historic core and its newer growth, and termite exposure tracks both. The neighborhoods around the courthouse square and the older Finley River streets carry housing that goes back generations — stone foundations, original sill plates, and decades of exposure that give subterranean termites time to work. The newer growth along Highway 65 and toward Highlandville is slab-on-grade construction settling fresh moisture against new soil. The Finley River adds moisture pressure across the city.
The termite that matters here is subterranean — soil-dwelling, moisture-following, and most visible in spring when it swarms. Titan Pest Pro inspects, treats, and monitors as one local, veteran-founded team. The National Pest Management Association estimates termites cause over $5 billion in property damage nationally each year, and an early inspection is the cheapest insurance against joining that figure.
How Termite Work Runs
- Inspection
We check foundations, crawlspaces, sill plates, and the moisture conditions that draw termites, and confirm whether activity is current.
- Treatment
Liquid soil treatments around the foundation, or modern baiting and monitoring systems, matched to the home and the situation.
- Moisture and prevention
We point out the grading, mulch, and crawlspace conditions that invite termites and what’s worth addressing.
- Monitoring
Ongoing termite monitoring is available with our premium coverage.
The Plan Built for This: Titan Termite Defense
Termite coverage now lives in our Titan Termite Defense plan — $99/month on a 12-month plan, built for termite inspection, professional in-ground bait-station installation, ongoing bi-monthly monitoring, and structural protection — which is the natural fit for the historic courthouse-square homes and older Finley River streets where termite exposure has had the longest to develop. See also the Termite Control service page for the full method detail.
Where Termite Pressure Shows Up in Ozark
It tracks the age of the housing and the moisture:
The historic courthouse-square core and older Finley River streets — stone foundations, original sill plates, and decades of exposure.
Finley River-adjacent properties, where extra moisture raises the pressure.
The newer growth along Highway 65 and toward Highlandville, where slab-on-grade foundations settle fresh moisture against new soil.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
We just bought a historic home near the courthouse — what should we be looking at for termites?
For a historic Ozark home, termite inspection is near the top of the list — housing this age has decades of exposure, and the stone foundations and original sill plates are exactly what the inspection examines, along with crawlspace and moisture conditions.
We just built along Highway 65 — new home, do we still need termite service?
Often yes. Slab-on-grade new construction settles moisture against fresh foundations, which is what subterranean termites follow. The early years are a sensible time to inspect.
How do I know if I have termites?
The common signs are mud tubes on foundation walls, soft or hollow-sounding wood, blistering paint, and swarmers in spring. Many homes show nothing obvious, which is why a free inspection is the right starting point.
Is termite treatment safe around children and pets?
Yes. Products are selected and applied with families and pets in mind, and your technician walks you through any precautions first.
How fast can you come out to Ozark?
Weekday calls are usually same-day or next-business-day — Ozark is part of our daily service area from our Springfield office.

Jason Staas came out today to do a termite inspection and sprayed the exterior of my house. He was the first one who was willing to get under the house and do a check and explained how all of the bait stations work for me. Dane was also very polite and professional when I called to let them know how great Jason was. Will recommend Titan Pest Control to everyone I know! Thank you for such great service.

Logan was great, explained the bait stations had been used but did not need filled yet. He caulked the outside entry point. He suggested that we glue the vent outside. Jenie was also very helpful. We were not happy with our previous service call and she offered to have someone else come out. We are very happy with 417 Pest now.

Checked thoroughly the crawl space, attic, and house (inside and out) for issues. Jordan sprayed all necessary areas. Thank goodness no termites. He sprayed my wasp issues too. It will be nice to sit out back again. Price was more than great. This will be my go-to place when I have issues. Thank you 417 Pest Control.

I originally called them for a second opinion on a termite issue. Joy called me back within 5 minutes to get my info. Jordan came by on time, checked everything out, and said I didn't really have any activity. They set up a date to add …
