We’re local and veteran-founded, and we know the pests that actually pressure homes here — subterranean termites, brown recluse and black widow spiders, and the seasonal patterns specific to our area.
Most companies handle just one — pests, or termites, or wildlife — and refer the rest out. Titan handles all three as one local team. One call, one company, one crew that knows your property.
A Growing County Brings Specific Pest Pressure
The Towns We Serve in Christian County
Nixa (the county’s largest city, ~27,800 residents). Heavy new-build pressure; the suburbs north of Mt. Vernon St. and along Hwy 14 are where we see the most spring termite swarmer reports.
Ozark (the county seat, ~24,000 residents). Older established neighborhoods near the historic courthouse and along the Finley River; more frequent rodent and crawlspace work in colder months.
Sparta. Smaller community, more rural in feel — wildlife calls are a bigger share of work here (raccoons, snakes around outbuildings, groundhogs in gardens).
Clever, Highlandville, Fremont Hills, Billings, and the surrounding rural areas. Properties tend toward larger lots, wooded perimeters, and the pest pressure that comes with both.
Most Common Issues We Handle in Christian County
Termites in newer Christian County homes. Subterranean termite pressure is high across the Ozark hills, and new-construction homes are not exempt — backfill, moisture against new foundations, and untreated wood-to-soil contact during builds all create early termite risk. We do free termite inspections county-wide.
Wildlife displaced by new development. When subdivisions go in on former farmland or woodland, the animals that lived there don’t vanish — they relocate to attics, crawlspaces, sheds and outbuildings. Raccoons, squirrels, groundhogs, opossums and snakes are routine in Christian County wildlife calls.
Mice and rats in fall and winter. Christian County’s seasonal temperature swings push rodents indoors aggressively from October through February. Newer homes are especially prone where weatherstripping and garage seals haven’t been refined yet.
Carpenter ants and moisture-following insects. The James and Finley River corridors and the wooded perimeters of so many county homes draw carpenter ants, carpenter bees, and the general moisture-pest cycle. Most of these are structural problems wearing pest costumes.
Mosquitoes, ticks, and yard pests. Rolling Ozark terrain with shaded creeks and treelines is the perfect mosquito and tick environment — a real summer issue for the families using their yards in this county.
Spiders and the occasional brown recluse. Older homes around Ozark and rural properties carry the same brown-recluse pressure as the rest of southwest Missouri; we handle identification and treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do you serve all of Christian County?
Yes — Nixa, Ozark, Sparta, Clever, Highlandville, Fremont Hills, Billings, and the surrounding rural areas. Same local team, same response times, same plans across the county.
My home is newer — do I really need termite protection?
Yes, often more so than older homes. New construction settles moisture against fresh foundations, backfill can include wood debris, and Christian County’s soils and climate are termite-friendly year-round. A free inspection tells you exactly where your home stands.
We just moved into a new build and we're hearing things in the attic. What is that?
Usually wildlife adjusting to the new construction. As subdivisions go in, displaced raccoons, squirrels, and bats often find their way into attics through gaps along soffits, gable ends, and utility penetrations. The fix is exclusion — sealing the entries — not just removal.
How fast can you come out to Nixa or Ozark?
Weekday calls are usually same-day or next-business-day for the Nixa/Ozark corridor. Tell us when you call or submit the form and we’ll give you the fastest available appointment.
Is pest control safe around children and pets?
Yes. Treatments are selected and applied with families and pets in mind, and your technician will walk you through any precautions before service begins.
What does the free inspection actually include?
A local technician walks your property inside and out, identifies any signs of pest, termite, or wildlife activity, explains what they find in plain language, and recommends the right next step. No charge, no obligation — if nothing serious is happening, they’ll tell you that too.

Jordan did an excellent job during our service visit. He was able to come out the same day I called, which we really appreciated. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, attentive, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly assess our home, explain what he was seeing, and walk us through our options for ongoing treatment in a way that was easy to understand. His attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate gave us a lot of confidence in the plan he recommended. Overall, a very positive experience—we were on board with his treatment recommendations and look forward to working with him!!

Jordan came out today to provide an estimate for services involving mice, moles, ants, spiders, and wasps for a new home we recently bought (and a creepy, icky combination to move in with). He was thorough, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He helped to point out all the possible entry points for pests and how they can help to treat our problem and prevent any future issues. He was super informative, relatable, and showed me the type of confidence guaranteeing a solution to all our problems, which is why we are scheduling with them! No other quotes necessary. Absolutely would 100/10 recommend this company for your pest control needs! Thank you Jordan!

Jordan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in identifying my pest/rodent concerns and addressing them in a very timely manner. He was very personable and answered every question I had, right down to showing me what the bait looked like in case one of my dogs (who is a digger) happened to retrieve the bait they had done a great job of securing. Highly highly recommend asking for Jordan for all of your pest control needs!

We had squirrels get into our attic, and Titan Pest Pro took care of it right away. Hunter was awesome to work with. He showed up on time, explained exactly what was going on, and told us how he was going to fix it. Everything was done quickly and professionally, and the results speak for themselves. No more scratching or scurrying sounds above our heads! I couldn't be happier with how easy they made the whole process. Highly recommend Titan Pest Pro if you're dealing with any kind of pest problem.

Jordan was very knowledgeable and very helpful explained everything very thoroughly and completely satisfied with the service that we received. Kris in the office is also very pleasant to talk with and more than accommodating when it came to asking for a specific time for the technician to arrive at the house so overall very pleased and they did a great job and hey, the bugs are staying away. What more could you ask for?
