What We Won’t Do (And Why)
Most pest control companies list what they do. Here’s what we won’t do — and the real reason why, in plain language.
We won’t capture, relocate, or kill snakes
By the time we arrive, the snake has usually already moved on. Cornering and handling a snake on purpose is a real risk to the technician for very little benefit to you. Instead, we identify what’s attracting it (usually rodents or clutter near the foundation), remove that food source, seal likely entry points, and apply repellent measures. It’s slower than a dramatic capture story, but it’s the version that actually keeps snakes from coming back.
We won’t treat honeybees or bumblebees
Pollinators, and we don’t treat them. They’re not a pest problem — they’re part of what keeps a yard healthy. (Carpenter bees are a different story: they damage wood structures and we do treat those.)
We won’t use heat treatment for bed bugs
Heat treatment works, but it means raising a room to a temperature that can damage electronics, candles, musical instruments, and other belongings. We use a flat, targeted-product process — $300 per room, all visits included — that gets the same result without putting your things at risk.
We won’t promise pests are gone for good
Nobody honestly can. Moles, mice, and most other pests migrate in from neighboring properties over time — that’s biology, not a service failure. What we can promise is a plan that keeps the property monitored and treated as new activity shows up, and a re-service at no additional charge if a covered pest comes back between scheduled visits.
We won’t claim to be a 24/7 service
Our phones are answered around the clock, and weekday same-day service is often available depending on technician availability — but we won’t tell you a technician can show up at 3 a.m. because that isn’t true, and we’d rather you know that upfront than find out on the phone.
We won’t say “safe for pets” or “non-toxic” as a blanket claim
We use label-directed, EPA-registered products in every treatment, and our technicians explain the specific preparation, re-entry, and household precautions before service — including anything relevant for kids and pets. But a blanket “100% safe” claim isn’t something any pest control company can honestly make about a pesticide, so we don’t make it.
We won’t hide the 12-month agreement
Our recurring plans run on a 12-month agreement that renews annually — it’s what funds re-service at no additional charge between scheduled visits. We’d rather you hear that from us on this page than find it out for the first time on a sales call.
This isn’t a marketing gimmick — it’s the same list our own technicians work from. If you’ve got a pest situation and want straight answers before you book anything, get a free inspection and we’ll tell you exactly what we’d do (and what we wouldn’t).
