PROTECTING LEAVENWORTH COUNTY, KS

Pest Control, Termite & Wildlife Removal in Leavenworth County, KS

From Fort Leavenworth and the historic Missouri River downtown to Lansing, Basehor and Tonganoxie — one trusted, veteran-founded local team serving the homes across Leavenworth County.

A real local person calls back to schedule — usually same day.

We know Missouri firsthand.

We’re local and veteran-founded, and we know the pests that actually pressure homes here — subterranean termites, brown recluse and black widow spiders, and the seasonal patterns specific to our area.

One team for all of it.

Most companies handle just one — pests, or termites, or wildlife — and refer the rest out. Titan handles all three as one local team. One call, one company, one crew that knows your property.

Fort Leavenworth Shapes This County — and So Does Our Founder's Service

Leavenworth County is a military county. Fort Leavenworth has been here since 1827 — the oldest continuously operating Army post west of the Mississippi — and the post has shaped everything from the city’s 19th-century downtown to the demographics of the surrounding neighborhoods to the rhythms of relocation, deployment, and military-family life that show up in real estate patterns. Active-duty families, retired military, military spouses, and Department of Defense civilians make up a meaningful share of the county.

That context matters here in a way it doesn’t elsewhere in the KC metro: Titan Pest Pro’s founder is a U.S. Air Force veteran. Our veteran-founded status isn’t a marketing line, it’s a real factor for the homeowners and families this county is full of — PCS-cycle relocations, quick inspection needs before move-in or move-out, the kind of straightforward communication military families expect, and the appointment-keeping discipline that comes from a service background.

Beyond the fort, the county is a mix: historic Leavenworth city neighborhoods with century-old housing stock, the established Lansing residential corridor, the country-feel of Tonganoxie on the western edge, and the fast-growing Basehor exurb on the southern county edge. The pest patterns reflect that variety — from older-home termite questions in downtown Leavenworth to rural-acreage wildlife in the western townships to new-build settling in Basehor. One local team, working all of it.

The Towns We Serve in Leavenworth County

Leavenworth (the county seat, ~37,000 residents). Historic Missouri River downtown with 19th-century commercial architecture, established residential neighborhoods around Fort Leavenworth, and the historic homes that come with the country’s oldest continuously operating Army post.

Fort Leavenworth itself. Military housing on-post (handled through the Fort directly), but the off-post residential pattern of active-duty and retired military families ripples through the entire surrounding city.

Lansing (~11,200). Second-largest city in the county, includes the Kansas State Penitentiary, with a mix of established neighborhoods and newer subdivisions on the city’s edges.

Basehor. Fast-growing exurb on the southern county edge — newer construction, family-heavy, and a meaningful share of Johnson and Wyandotte commute traffic.

Tonganoxie (~5,600). Country-feel with KC metro access on the western edge of the county. Low crime, strong schools, mix of established and newer residential.

Easton and Linwood. Smaller and more rural — working farms, larger lots, and the rural-property pest patterns that come with both.

Residential Pest Control

PCS-cycle pest inspections for military families. Relocating in or out of a Leavenworth home on a tight Permanent Change of Station timeline often means quick inspection needs — pre-move walkthroughs, fast remediation if needed, and clear documentation. We do these regularly.
New-build pest pressure in Basehor. The county's fastest-growing community brings the standard new-construction pattern: settling foundations, displaced wildlife, weatherstripping not yet refined.
Rural-property pest patterns in the western townships. Tonganoxie, Easton, Linwood, and the unincorporated areas tend toward larger lots with outbuildings, treelines, and the wildlife/rodent pressure that comes with both.

How We Work

Most pest companies handle one or two of pests, termites, and wildlife — and refer the rest out. In Leavenworth County, where a single property might have a historic-home termite question, wildlife along the river corridor, and a quick pre-PCS inspection need all in the same week, splitting that across three companies makes no sense. We handle all of it as one team. Every Titan technician serving Leavenworth County is background-checked, licensed, locally based, and trained to explain what they find in plain language — the kind of straightforward communication that gets the job done. Our founder is an Air Force veteran, and the company operates with that standard of accountability.

My landlord contacted these guys and they were quick and fast to respond! Jake and Jordan were amazing! They had an already full schedule and still fit me in! Both gentlemen seemed very knowable on what they were doing. They showed up, took care of my bird mite problem and sprayed, and even went above and beyond to spray extra spaces to ensure to get rid of the bird mites!

Jordan came out today to provide an estimate for services involving mice, moles, ants, spiders, and wasps for a new home we recently bought. He was thorough, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He helped to point out all the possible entry points for pests and how they can help to treat our problem and prevent any future issues.

I had Jordan come out to handle our mice issue. This was my 2nd opinion on the matter and Jordan and Titan Pest were the far superior option. Their original diagnosis uncovered much more than the large chain pest control entity. Jordan was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and great communicator. He took care of us and our home.

Jordan came out to assess for fleas and ants. They looked around and explained things great! There was no pressure to purchase anything, but we went ahead and signed up for the treatment because they were so helpful. Super easy and definitely recommend!

Awesome service! I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He is very knowledgeable about the sources of pests and how to get to them as quickly and effectively as possible. He sprayed inside and out of our house and within 30 minutes of him spraying we have already seen them dying. I love that he had some kid and pet friendly solutions.
